Erin Murphy
Erin is our amazing Lead Teacher and Studio Manager! Erin has lots to offer with her many fitness designations which include Certified Yoga Instructor, Spin Instructor, Hit Instructor and an internationally recognized Personal Trainer Designation. Being an athlete for most of her life and with the broad spectrum of training she has received she has lots to offer any of our Clients at LIV Yoga. She teaches some strong and spicy classes, but her main goal is to ensure her clients succeed, and feel accomplished and positive at the end of every class. As our Manager, she understands the value of working hard and providing a place where all feel welcome. Join her for LIV Flow, LIV Fusion and LIV Mobility classes every day except for Sunday.
Valerie Ritchie
Valerie is known for teaching yoga with a dash of humour. She is passionate about empowering others so that they can embrace their yoga practice on and off of the mat. She started yoga, almost 20 years ago, felt the benefits of the practice, and was hooked.
After almost a decade of personal practice, she decided to get certified to teach. She currently has her 200Hr YTT certification with Yoga Alliance and is pursuing her 500hr YTT certification. Her primary interests are asana, the chakras, yoga psychology, neuroscience, meditation, mindfulness, and overcoming trauma through yoga. Her intention as a teacher is to encourage and support self-discovery through yoga. She teaches in-person and online classes, workshops, and retreats that emphasize the connection between modern life and the ancient practice of yoga.
When she is not on her yoga mat she can be found having repetitive conversations with her pre-tween, laughing out loud while reading a book in a quiet public space, cooking, travelling and enjoying the outdoors.

Meet John! One of our new teachers to the Liv family, John has been dedicated to his practice for over 15 years. His choice of music taste and calming voice will certainly lull you into a feeling of relaxation when you attend any of his evening restorative classes
